Juan Villamil leads the Imperial College London's Information and Communications Technology function. This is a world-class technology services organisation that partners with the faculty’s, students, staff and alumni to advance research, science, engineering, medicine and business in support of the College’s mission to deliver benefits to society.
Prior to this role, Juan was the Chief Technology Officer for the Department of Work and Pensions technology organisation, London, United Kingdom, responsible for the Department's digital architecture, engineering, infrastructure, strategy, security and production operations. Juan was also responsible for driving innovation across the department through the DWP Digital Innovation team which tackles some of the biggest challenges the organisation faces.
